Currently, Sadiq is associated with Habib University Karachi where he is providing overall leadership and administration for the Office of Student Life-Institutional Effectiveness and Student Affairs; including staff supervision, budget management, and the development and assessment of various programs/services, pertaining to leadership, student conduct, and housing and residence life, designed to advance student success and development
CAREER PROGRESSION & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
He is also engaged with Karachi University where he is teaching as a visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Administration. Previously, while working at National University of Sciences and Technology Headquarters as Assistant Director Publishing and Student Affairs, he was involved in administering and supervising the operations, plans and functions of the publishing, marketing, student activities/ programs while providing administrative support to 19x NUST Institutions. Providing, on a daily basis; coordinating with Principals, HoDs and faculty advisors; partaking as a focal person on matters, pertaining to rationalizing and recommending the budget and planning for various activities.
In the past he had been liaising with government ,regulatory bodies and NGOs as NUST focal person/ campaign manager- such as Print Media/TV, National Accountability Bureau, Anti-Narcotics Division, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Planning, Interior Ministry Cyber Wing, Higher Education Commission, Embassies, UNIC, and UNDP to name a few.
Having a multifarious experiences both with the local and international context pertaining to education dynamics, student leadership, educational institutions, school development project, traders, social entrepreneurship, resource development etc; he has delivered and was received well in performing roles as project director, entrepreneur, social worker, and facilitator, visiting assistant professor, student affairs professional, marketer, external/internal liaison, communications, and publications.
